Fall 2005

Hello all!

It's been a busy summer, and an exciting one, what with the release of my first book, What A Woman Needs. My son is perhaps the most excited of all; he tells everyone, "Hey, my mom wrote a book! Do you think you might want to buy it?" I think he's my future publicist, the little darling. The book is out and about on bookshelves everywhere, and of course available on-line from Amazon.com and other outlets. I've posted some reviews and a little bit of 'inside the story' information on my website, www.carolinelinden.com, which I hope you'll find interesting and helpful. Let me know what you think!

I'm also having a contest to celebrate; all you need to do is answer the question, 'what does a woman need?' The prizes include autographed books and other goodies, and the grand prize will be a basket full of items suggested by contest entries. You can read the winning entries (so far) on my website, and be sure to send in your own entry before midnight, October 31, 2005.

And looking ahead a bit (OK, a lot ahead), I've also posted some more about my next book, What A Gentleman Wants. It stars the stuffy and prickly duke of Exeter, who makes a very (very) brief appearance in What A Woman Needs, and the least likely duchess he would have ever expected. It will be released in September 2006. More about this later…

If you're going to be in the NY/NJ area next weekend, I'll be at the Literacy Book Fair of the NJ Romance Writers' conference. Over sixty authors will be signing books, and part of the proceeds benefit Literacy Volunteers of America. The book fair is on October 8, 2005 from 4:00-5:30 PM, at the Sheraton at Woodbridge Place in Iselin NJ. I'd love to meet anyone who can make it.

I wish you all a wonderful fall, filled with many good books.

All the best,

Caroline
