Hello!

Today is the official release date of my new book, What A Gentleman Wants, with its lovely iridescent violet cover. Since I've been asked several times, let me first say this: it is not connected to my first book, What A Woman Needs, although the hero and heroine do make a cameo appearance in What A Woman Needs. Otherwise they are completely distinct stories.

What A Gentleman Wants is my take on the Mr. Darcy hero: seemingly cold, unfeeling, and proud, but the heroine turns him up, down, and sideways until he doesn't know which was is up anymore. I find these heroes endearing in a way those naughty rakes and rogues can never be—and that says a lot, given how charming those rakes and rogues can be! This book is also a little more personal to me because the heroine's daughter, Molly, is based very (very) closely on my own daughter, who was four years old when I started writing the book. I can't wait to hear what readers think of this story.

I've updated my website with some inside information about the story and the latest reviews, including the reviews of two readers who won Advance Reading Copies of What A Gentleman Wants this summer.
